July

I would love to post more often, but we've been so busy with Buddy we keep forgetting to take pictures of anything else! We have lots of pictures of him, of course, but I'm sure people don't just want to see pictures of our dog. So I'll post a couple today, and I promise there will be some pictures of our kids soon!

We had a great time on the 4th of July. We couldn't believe all the kinds of fireworks that are legal here. Alan and Nathan had fun launching lots at their cousins' house, and then we went back to our house and our neighbors put on quite a show. We also did some of our own on our street. The boys thought it was the best 4th of July ever! I don't know about Hannah, though. She was pretty scared and fortunately went to bed before we watched the fireworks on our street.

We're trying to get Buddy to stay outside more, so Roger built him a doghouse. Of course, he couldn't just build a basic doghouse! It has the same siding, paint, and roof as our house, has an "entryway" and "sleeping area," a hinged roof, and is even insulated! Buddy is starting to spend more time in it as he gets bigger, so that has been nice for all of us.
