Christmas Fun

We have been enjoying the Christmas season this year, since last year we were so busy packing and moving that we felt we missed out! On the first weekend of December, Santa came to our neighborhood in his fire-truck sleigh, complete with a parade of emergency vehicles and elves collecting cans and handing out candy canes! Hannah wouldn't sit by Santa, but wanted to get a closer look.Later that night, Sinterklaas came to our house and left chocolate letters in each of the kids' wooden shoes!

We all went to pick out a tree and Buddy had a great time! He was really good and enjoyed all of the new smells.

Last week, Hannah had her Christmas program at preschool. I was amazed at how happily she stood in front of everyone and sang!
The kids also did a great job singing in front of church with their Sunday School on Sunday morning, but it was a busy morning for me, so I forgot to bring the camera. :(

In a grocery store in Victoria. But he had to dig through many boxes in order to find an "A" for Alan!

We've seen them in the Dutch Bakery in Ontario, Calif., but weren't able to find an "A" there so didn't get them. So if you ever want one for your daughter you might have to shop early!
